About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Category Associate who excels at problem-solving and thrives in leadership roles. This position is critical in expanding supplier businesses, enhancing selection, and ensuring competitive pricing. As a Category Associate, you’ll also empower your team to consistently deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
Guide, mentor, and motivate a team of Key Account Managers.
Champion Meesho’s values and principles across your team.
Collaborate with central teams to optimize selection, pricing, and product visibility on the platform.
Develop and implement robust processes to streamline operations and critical tasks.
Define and track key performance indicators for the team and individuals.
Communicate priorities and decisions effectively with stakeholders through strong verbal and written communication skills.
Drive supplier engagement and oversee problem resolution for seamless execution.
Utilize both quantitative and qualitative data to make informed decisions and assess performance metrics.
Establish category-specific goals and create strategic roadmaps aligning with organizational objectives.
Eligibility Criteria
BE/B.Tech from a reputed institute.
1–3 years of experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
Familiarity with startup environments and fast-paced workflows is advantageous.
Experts in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proven leadership skills and stakeholder management experience.
